Leader of the trade associations and industries, President of Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin asked financial support from government for the SME companies. He emphasized its necessity for the small companies who are exporting garments. He was talking in the opening ceremony of exhibitions.
Three days long three tradeshows titled covering the leather industry, print industry and the garment industry kicked off on 20 July at International Convention City, Bashundhara in Dhaka. LIMRA Trade Fairs & Exhibitions (Pvt) Ltd organized the expo. The tradeshow were remain open from 10am to 8pm till 22 July 2017 .
Addressing the inaugural session, State Minister, Textile and Jute, Mirza Azam MP said this trade show will play an important role in introducing investors with global technology and select the best method of production and machinery.

“The government is establishing an environment-friendly separate leather zone at Hemayetpur of Savar to attract foreign importers and buyers. We will talk about solving your problem”, he added.
FBCCI President, Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin said, “We import raw materials from abroad for RMG production. As, our RMG industry contributes in country’s national export growth and also supplies products for the local customers, govt. should reduce taxation on small businessmen and should give financial support.”
Over 100 exhibitors from Turkey, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong with a 50 member strong pavilion from India and large pavilion from China are participating in the event showcasing machinery for Printing, tanning leather, manufacturing footwear and leather goods along with components, dyes & chemicals and other accessories.
Mohiuddin Ahamed, Chairman, Leather goods & Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh, Saiful Islam; Chairman of Bangladesh Finished Leather goods & Footwear Exporter Association, Gazi Ahamed Hasan, President Bangladesh export oriented Garments Washing Industries owners Association among others, were present at the event.
